Description

ABF The Soldiers' Charity Festival 2019 - 'Celebrating 75 years in style!'

Fri 13th September - Sun 15th September

This year, The ABF Soldiers' Charity and James Dean Events will be working together to produce a 100% non-profit event to raise money for this charity to celebrate all they have done and are continuing to do for our soldiers, veterans and their families.

WHAT IS THE ABF?

ABF The Soldiers’ Charity was founded in 1944; 75 years ago. The fundamental purpose was to ensure that soldiers returning from the Second World War and campaigns such as D-Day were taken care of.

Just in the past year, ABF The Soldiers’ Charity has provided support to around 70,000 British Army soldiers, veterans and their families in 62 countries across the globe.

We owe a debt to those who served – in the D-Day landings and Normandy campaign, and in all subsequent conflicts – just as we continue to owe a debt to those who serve our country today. ABF The Soldiers’ Charity stands ready to continue supporting soldiers, veterans and their families for the long haul; and we are ever-grateful for their service.
