The Absence of Colour Collection

The exhibition is a showcase of the fashion design students from the Level 3 Introduction to the Study of Fashion, at the UAL school of pre degree. In collaboration with the charity retailer Sue Ryder, students redesign and reconstructed a collection with no colour to highlight the fashion waste and end of the circular fashion cycle that the charity sector face, using form and structure to create a unified collection, exploring the skills and techniques developed on their one year fashion studies course.

Experimental shapes forms and textiles make up this cohesive collection to present a a new vision and redirection for re using pre made garments while exploring originality of fashion design. Behind the scene images will display the students journey through this collection, with snapshots of workshops, photoshoots and fashion shows that made up this unique project
