Event description

Description

Course tutor: Derek Teasdale
Course length: 10 sessions
Course structure: indoor sessions

The dinosaurs can be recognised as a separate group from the middle of the Triassic period (ca. 235 Ma), and were at their most abundant until the end-Cretaceous mass extinction (65 Ma). Fortunately, rocks of the right age can be found nearby in Yorkshire which allow us to ask questions such as: What was the environment like at that time? Which dinosaurs migrated across the North East? Find out whether they really became extinct.
