This class provides an opportunity for creative writing and group discussion to inform wearable artworks using a range of textiles, within a lively, social setting.
This evening class delves into Suzanne Treister’s long term project Rosalind Brodsky – the artist’s time traveling alter-ego which she used to explore historical events in relation to how they might affect the future. In this class, we will use writing exercises and costume design, to consider narrative storytelling and world building, creating fictional situations for our own alter egos to travel to, experiencing personal and imagined realities of past, present and future.
