Robert J, Aumann is the recipient of the 2005 Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences for his work on conflict and cooperation through game theory analysis, jointly with Thomas Schelling. He is Professor at the Mathematics Department at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He has been a member of the editorial board of various top economics journals, including Econometrica, Journal of Economic Theory and Games & Economic Behavior. He is the author of almost 100 scientific papers and six books, has held visiting positions at many prestigious institutions across the USA and Europe, and has received numerous prizes.
