About this event
During Safeguarding Adults Week 2025, we are focusing on prevention, and how we can effectively work together to create safer communities and stop the harm and abuse of adults. Our conference features a selection of informative keynotes and workshops exploring effective techniques for preventing abuse.
The conference will contribute to continued professional development for professionals and volunteers working with adults across a range of sectors.

Frequently asked questions
This conference is suitable for anyone working in a safeguarding or welfare role. The conference is accessible to people working in a range of sectors from police personnel, health and social care, religious organisations, the third sector, sport and activity and the private sector.
The Conference will take place at Trent Conference Centre in Nottingham. The venue donates over 90% of it's profits to Trent Vineyard Charity, which facilitates social action across Nottingham by supporting people that struggling with addiction, or those that are homeless, or leaving prison.
There is free parking available for delegates at the venue, which is allocated on a first-come first serve basis. We would encourage people to use public transport where possible. Gregory Street tram stop is 5 minutes walk from the venue, with direct links to Nottingham railway station.
There is no accommodation available at the venue and. The Holiday Inn and Premier Inn in Castle Marina are a short walk from the venue. Nottingham City Centre is a short tram ride away (around 10 minutes), where there are multiple hotel options.
The event is £219 per delegate. The conference rate includes refreshments, lunch, car parking at the venue and access to all sessions on the programme. You can get a special early bird rate if you book early.
Please note the booking terms & conditions include; a full refund before 90 days, 50% thereafter to 28 days. We are unable to process refunds within 28 days of the event, but tickets can be transferred within your organisation.
