This popular annual lecture will this year be delivered by the Rt Revd Nick Baines, Bishop of Leeds, covering West Yorkshire and the Dales.

The title of this years lecture is 'The Will of the People' in which Bishop Baines will explore the state of politics in today's world.

Nick became Bishop of Leeds in 2014. At this time he also became a member of the House of Lords. He has represented the Archbishop of Canterbury at international faith conferences and he recently stood down after 11 years as the English Co-chair of the Meissen Commission which develops relationships between the Church of England and the Protestant Church in Germany.

Bishop Nick has particular expertise in communication and is known for his engagement with the media. With his 14,000 followers on Twitter and his blog attracting between 500 and 2,000 views on a good day, he is frequently a guest on the Chris Evans Show on Radio 2 and 'Thought of the Day' on Radio 4. His writing includes pieces for broadsheet newspapers, popular books on Christian faith and contributions to academic articles.

There are no age restrictions however, under 16s should be accompanied by an adult.

Please note that there is no parking available on the campus except for blue badge holders.
