Join us for our Annual Shakespeare Lecture in Honor of Stanley Wells, CBE. This year, we are privileged to host Professor Emeritus Lois Potter (University of Delaware) who will be speaking on Shakespeare, Performance and Contingency.
Professor Lois Potter's extensive list of publications includes Othello (in the University of Manchester's Shakespeare in Performance series), Which Shakespeare? and The Life of William Shakespeare,as part of Wiley-Blackwell's Critical Biography series. She has also reviewed countless plays, and edited a range of other Shakespeare-related publications. Professor Potter retired in 2008 as Ned B. Allen Professor of English.
The event is hosted by the University of Notre Dame London Global Gateway in collaboration with The Shakespeare Institute and Shakespeare Birthplace Trust.
