About this event

  • 6 hours

The much awaited annual OAA UK fundraising dinner dance event is here, and we are excited that you can join us for an evening of elegance, entertainment and philanthropy.

Your attendance and generous support by purchasing a ticket or donating, will contribute to the growth of the Achimota School Endowment Trust Fund (ASET). ASET was established to bolster the education and empowerment of current and future students of Achimota Senior High School in Ghana.

Theme:

Harmony in Giving

Does giving strike a chord with you? The stylized piano- keyboard design of the Achimota School crest was described by one of its founders Dr. Aggrey at the time; 'You can play a tune of sorts on the black keys only, and you can play a tune of sorts on the white keys only, but for perfect harmony, you must use both the black and white keys.' A reference encouraging us all to work together for the greater good.

Guest Speaker :

Dr. Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings

A Ghanaian medical doctor, member of parliament, activist, campaigner, former 1st daughter of Ghana, former Motowner, and dear friend of several OAA 95 year group members who studied together with her at Achimota Junior High School.
