Overview

Welcome to The Anursethesia Webinar Series! #OpinionVersusEvidence

The Anursethesia Webinar Series is quarterly evidence-based education where we delve into a specific topic in veterinary anaesthesia.

The adrenal glands may be small, but when they act up, they can cause big problems for our patients. From pets that just "aren't themselves" to those in full-blown crises, recognising the signs of adrenal disease can make all the difference. We will be focusing on Addisons and Cushings during this session.

Our speaker for this session is Dr Katherine Clarke, BVSc BSAVA PGCertSAM DipECVIM-CA MRCVS, a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Internal Medicine.

Katherine graduated from the University of Bristol in 2011. She subsequently worked in a first opinion, small animal practice in Shropshire. During this time she started her certificate in small animal internal medicine. After three years at this practice she moved to the Midlands to complete an Internship at Willows Veterinary Centre and Referral Service, gaining her certificate during this time. She joined the team at Davies in May 2018 and completed a 3-year residency programme in small animal medicine in May 2021. She attained the European Diploma in Small Animal Medicine in 2022.

At the end of the session, click the "hands up" button, type in the chat, or unmute your microphone to share your thoughts and advice with your fellow RVNs. Heck, bring some literature as well!

This event is held via zoom (you will be sent the link) and it is recorded for everyone who attends. If you cannot attend live, you will be sent the recording.
