Workshop Description

We all know what it’s like to feel anxious from time to time. It’s common to feel tense, nervous and perhaps fearful at the thought of a stressful event or decision you’re facing. If these feelings very strong or last for a long time, then it might be time to learn what to do to start feeling better.

This is a safe space for you to learn practical ways to help control your anxiety through mindfulness and meditation and creativity. You will leave feeling confident and supported enough to be able to do this at home.

Samantha Culshaw-Robinson hypnotherapist and stress management consultant will begin with a group hypnotic relaxation session. An added bonus will be that when we relax, we can access alpha frequency brain waves which helps to increase the creative part of our mind. There will also be a Hypnotic Relaxation and confidence MP3 to download so that you can continue your good work at home.

Dani Bello, the creative arts practitioner, will then facilitate a session focusing on helping you relax and unwind. This includes finding the link between colour and emotion, enabling you to experience how gratitude can bring balance, how affirmations can focus your scattered mind, reassessing your state of mind after the activities.

The morning will give you tools that you can use to control your anxiety at home.

Who is this workshop for?

The workshop is open to over 16s or those over 13 with a responsible adult.

About Samantha Culshaw-Robinson

Samantha is a registered Hypnotherapist and one of Nottingham’s top three hypnotherapists. She is the founder of Live Well Practice, specialising in dealing with Stress & Anxiety, Stopping Smoking, Weight Management and Rapid Pain Elimination. She has also appeared on Notts TV!

About Dani Bello

Dani created Bello Mind and Soul to help people create to express their emotions. She has over three years of experience, facilitating her own workshops and working with children and adults with mental health needs and learning disabilities. She has also been involved in health and wellbeing festivals, charity events and worked closely with local schools. She specialise in multimedia and recycled materials and sensory art.
