1 Dr Michele Lawty-Jones – Director of Lancashire Skills Hub
Dr Lawty-Jones will be contributing to a session on the apprenticeship reforms and apprenticeship levy – what it means to Lancashire employers, how apprenticeships can help tackle issues of an ageing workforce in Lancashire and replacement demand, as well as what the reforms and levy look like wit discussion on how to prepare and how to engage.
2 Ruth Rule-Mullen – Employment Partner, Forbes Solicitors - Providing information on the legal aspects employers need to be aware of, when employing Apprentices.
3 Joanne L Pickering – Director of HR, Training & Quality, Forbes Solicitors & Ambassador for the North West National Apprenticeship Service
Overview on employing Apprentices and what benefits they can bring to your business.
4 Frankie Haggerty, Apprentice & Paralegal, Forbes Solicitors & Young Ambassador for Lancashire
On being an Apprentice and how Frankie has developed during the course of her Apprenticeship.

The Lancashire Skills and Employment Hub supports the work of the Lancashire Enterprise Partnership and the Skills and Employment Board, working with businesses, partners and stakeholders to ensure a balanced, skilled and inclusive labour market which underpins and contributes to economic well-being and growth across the County.
Times: 6.30pm for 7pm until 8pm approx
