Event description
A talk on the interesting archaeological digs which have occurred in Oxford.

About this Event

Local author, David Radford, will talk about some of the archaeological sites featured in his recent book "The Archaeology of Oxford in 20 digs.' He will also discuss how recent excavations have added to our understanding of Oxford's past. From the supposed ‘British Village’ found at the Examination Schools in 1876 through to more recent excavations such as the mass ‘Viking’ grave at St John’s College and the excavation of the Franciscan Friary at the Westgate.

We know the cost of this ticket is more than the advertised price, however using this fantastic booking website comes at a cost. We are passing on the handling fee so that you have the choice to book in advance and avoid disappointment on the day.
