Event description

Description

The inaugural The Architects Underground, takes place 11th September at 6pm and it launches with a proverbial bang, as we link architecture and entertainment in this innovative weekly Wednesday night programme of events.

Giles Martin – Sgt Pepper at Abbey Road
English record producer, songwriter, composer and multi-instrumentalist Giles Martin, son of Beatles producer George Martin, takes us on a tour of remixing Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club band for it’s 50th Anniversary. He tells the story of remixing this iconic album for the first time outside of the music industry at The Architects Underground.

Plus!
• Omari Carter MCs our very first evening of entertainment at 66 Portland Place
• Peter Murray’s Future London
• Pati de Souza presents our first Architecture News of the Week feature

Alongside the programme, The Architects Underground pop up bar will be open for business – creating a unique weekly cocktail inspired by history's greatest architects. Non-alcoholic beverage will also be available alongside a food menu of British classics.

Tickets
Entry to The Architects Underground events will be free to RIBA members and all students. For non-members and non-students, tickets will be available to purchase online and on the door for £15 with a free cocktail included.
