The Art and Music of Christmas. Shepherds trudging through snow, the baby Jesus glowing and golden in the manger… how the greatest painters have captured the majesty of the season.

A led day that looks at some of the different ways the story of the birth of Christ has been represented in art, through different times in history. Marguerite will guide us through the Christmas story, looking at some wonderful works of art and we will hear some evocative songs of the season, accompanied by guitarist Ian Edwards.

A gentle, taught day with space for reflection, response and music. Suitable for all.
