10:05 - 10:45: AI - the challenges and opportunities for the art market & creativity

As AI transforms how art is created, shared, and valued, what protections do artists and the art market need? This panel brings together legal and policy experts to explore copyright and licensing challenges, government responses to these challenges, and the implications of generative AI for artists and the market. Speakers will consider how artists, institutions, and policymakers can work together to ensure creativity thrives in the AI era. With speakers: Lord Clement-Jones, Margherita Barbagallo (Dragon Argent), Christian Zimmermann (DACS), Tim Flagg (UK AI) and Jennifer Schipf (AXA XL).

11:45 - 12:15: Beyond the Bricks and Mortar: Supporting the Curious Collector in the Digital Realm

12:15 - 12:45: The Asia Pivot: How technology is reshaping art collecting in Asia.

This discussion will look at digital strategies, data, social media, and new business models or forms of access and outreach. What are the specific tools or platforms being adopted in specific markets such as WeChat-based sales, digital exhibition strategies, e-commerce infrastructure, or blockchain experimentation. How are younger collectors in Asia are engaging with art differently because of tech, is there a regional difference in online behaviors, virtual engagement, or transparency expectations?

12:45:Quick-fire pitches:three shortlisted companies will present a pitch of up to 3 minutes outlining how their company will have revolutionised the art world in 2050. A panel of judges will vote on one winner that will be announced at the conference.
