“The Art of Being Heard” is a moving art exhibition, developed as part of the 16 Days of Action, an international campaign to raise awareness and inspire action to end gender-based violence. 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence | UN Women – Headquarters This project aligns with Stop Domestic Abuse’s 2025 theme, which focuses on children and young people’s experiences of domestic abuse.

The project invites children and young people across our services, to express their experiences through creative artwork. This exhibition will serve as both a celebration of resilience and a platform to amplify young people’s voices and experiences.

Each piece of art is accompanied by a blurb , written in the child or young persons words, to describe what their art means to them.
