Come and enjoy 3 blissful hours of relaxing hand stitching and take away your own block of quilted hexagons. This traditional technique is a fantastic way of using spare scraps of fabric or upcyling pre-loved textiles. Small group format 10–15 participants max for plenty of guidance and connection.

Textile Designer & Educator
Keren is a textile designer and educator. She studied at the London College of Furniture in East London. In addition to hosting workshops she works as a print designer in the fashion industry, creating vibrant, hand-painted repeat patterns for established brands and private clients worldwide. Her prints appear on clothing, furnishing fabrics, and home décor.
She takes inspiration from nature and botanical forms employing a range of media including watercolour, gouache, acrylics and collage before creating a digital repeat file for production.
As an educator, Keren has designed and run lively, inspiring, creative workshops for adults and children. Creative collaboration and an inclusive spirit are central to her practice.
She is a member of the Learning Workshop Team at the Royal Academy of Arts, where she supports a variety of short courses as part of the Art and Design education programme.
Keren believes in an approach to learning that fosters personal and collective wellbeing and confidence. She believes creativity is about experimentation, exploration, and joy, not about following the rules!
