Welcome to The Art of Garden Design!

Come along to a talk on garden design filled with creativity and inspiration, in the unique surroundings of the Ashburton based Field System Art Gallery, shop & print workshop. Whether you are a seasoned gardener or just starting out, this talk is perfect for anyone looking to elevate their outdoor space.

Get hints and tips on how to make a fabulous garden, from Garden Designer, Jacquie Felix - Mitchell, who has hosted on an award winning RHS Chelsea Garden, and is a regular Speaker at Toby Buckland's annual Powderham Garden festival. Jacquie has been a Contributor on BBC Gardeners' Question Time, gives talks and workshops across Devon, and has written articles for national publications. During this event, you will have the opportunity to look at International Artist Max Naylor's captivating exhibition, which showcases gorgeous imagined landscapes.

About the venue

Field System, is an art gallery, shop and print workshop in Ashburton. It showcases wonderful things by many wonderful makers. The gallery has become a home for considered works of art being made in Devon and beyond, by active and dedicated artists.

Hi; I'm Jacquie Felix-Mitchell of Oasis Garden Design. I worked in PR & Communications for many years, before retraining as a Garden Designer. I design gardens small and large in South Devon and beyond, give virtual and in person talks at events such as Toby Buckland's Garden Festival, and for various clubs and societies. I also run design workshops for small groups. I have been a Contributor to BBC Gardeners’ Question Time, hosted on an award winning RHS Chelsea Garden, written for a large national women’s organisation, and been featured in national publications. I am based in Buckfastleigh, Devon.
