Welcome to the Art of Running with Malcolm Balk from Montreal, Canada
Are you looking for easy to follow tips to improve how you run AND future proof your body? Then this workshop is for you!
Open to Runners of all ages and levels of fitness and experience. Whether you are a complete beginner, intermediate or competitive runner, Malcolm will help you discover how to improve your perfomance and ward off niggles and injuries.
In this workshop Malcolm will be focusing on movement of the hips + posture and balance so you can apply what you learn to walking and swimming too!
We shall be exploring:
How to harness WALKING as a first step to improve your RUNNING
How to move your hips to improve how you move
Run with more ease and less tension
Simple steps to a better stride that fits with your natural way of moving
Better breathing and focus
With his years of experience as an Athletics Coach and internationally acclaimed Alexander Technique teacher* Malcolm will be your best guide to helping you become a better runner. You will come away feeling you can enjoy the benefits of running, or step up your training, without the worry that you might be storing up problems further down the track.
