Description

Waddesdon Manor was built in the 19th Century and contains the magnificent collection of art works built up by the Rothschild family. The house and collection were bequeathed to the National Trust in 1957. This talk about the collection will be given by Philippa Glanville, OBE, FSA, who was Academic Director to the collection between 1999 and 2003 and is now a Trustee of the Art Fund. Philippa has had a distinguished career in art, including ten years as Keeper of Metalwork at the Victoria and Albert Museum, with a more recent period there as Senior Research Fellow.

The cost includes coffee on arrival, two course luncheon with a glass of wine
