About this event
Unlock your creativity, discover your voice, and find joy in the process. Bestselling author Marianne Power will guide you step by step through Julia Cameron’s life-changing book The Artist’s Way, with weekly Zoom gatherings and a supportive WhatsApp group to keep you inspired and connected.
💬 “Evenings with Marianne were supportive, lighthearted, and unexpectedly revealing. I met a brilliant mix of people I'd never normally cross paths with —from designers, artists, and directors to kindred spirits with desk jobs simply wanting to explore and “unleash” their creativity and have a bit of fun. If you are feeling a bit stuck and want a gentle nudge into a more creative, playful life, I'd highly recommended."

Frequently asked questions
No, but I recommend you come to as many as you can. The calls are where we share our experiences, laugh about the wobbles, and cheer each other on. Like all things, the more you put in the more you'll get out - but also there is no pressure. Do this in a way that works for you.
Not at all. For some people, a WhatsApp group is heaven; for others, it’s hell. You do you. You’re welcome to join and post as much or as little as you like — there’s zero expectation.
Nope. Many past participants loved cheering each other on — but if you’d rather keep things private and do the work on your own, that’s absolutely fine too.
Not at all. The Artist’s Way isn’t about producing a novel or painting a masterpiece (unless you want to). It’s about unblocking yourself, getting to know yourself better, and opening up to creativity in whatever form that takes.
You are. Sorry, but you just are. Try this and you’ll find out how much. The kid who used to paint, dance, sing, or build villages out of sand is still in you — even if you now work in IT, finance, or spreadsheets.
Perfect — you’re in the right place. So many people stall at Week 3. Doing it together with accountability and encouragement makes all the difference.
No problem. You can always pick back up. There’s no “failing” The Artist’s Way - it's something you can keep revisiting for a lifetime. There is no rush. You cannot do it wrong or fail. However much or little you do, you will get a lot from it.
No. The sessions won’t be recorded. This is about showing up live, in the moment, without pressure to perform or worry about being “on tape.” If you miss one, that’s totally fine — you’ll just pick it up the following week.
Never. Morning Pages are for your eyes only. You’re not expected to share writing or creative work unless you want to.
No — I’m not a therapist. The Artist’s Way is a creativity course, not therapy. That said, many people do find it therapeutic: Morning Pages and Artist Dates can bring surprising insights, help you process life, and give you more energy and clarity. But please see this as a creative adventure, not
Just a copy of The Artist’s Way, a notebook or journal, and a pen. That’s it.
You’re not alone — lots of people feel this way before they join. I keep the atmosphere warm, friendly and supportive. You can always choose how much or how little you share.
You are most welcome to sit at the back of the class in silence, feet on your desk! You don’t have to say a thing, and I will never call on you to speak. If what’s most helpful for you is simply listening to others, that’s great — do that.
