The Arts Club, a VIP industry weekly music, art and fashion night is the brainchild of Bartholomew Watson and Jivana Hunt.

Speaking at the night will be none other than legendary producer Alan O’Duffy (The Stones, Paul McCartney, Prince, Eric Clapton, Andrew Lloyd Webber) who will be talking about being part of the production team for the classic Rolling Stones album Let it Bleed, and the challenge he faced working with two unknown artists that nobody wanted to work with called Andrew Lloyd Webber and Time Rice, and producing their first number one album Jesus Christ Superstar.

“The idea behind the club is to invite industry experts in music, art, and fashion for Q&A, and give a chance to the audience to understand how the industry works, and have an exciting yet intimate space to network.” – Bart Watson

Another exciting speaker will be film producer Alex Brown from Studio Eight Productions who successfully produced 38 feature films with his father Jamie Brown and is one of the hottest film producers in demand. He will be sharing stories working with actors such as Samuel L. Jackson, Sigourney Weaver, and Ralph Fiennes, and what it takes to successfully produce a film.

Bartholomew Watson is a musician/photographer who has worked with artists such as Dickie Jobson (original manager of Bob Marley), Andrew Wilkinson (ex-manager of the Rolling Stones), Gareth Owen Jones (Oscar-winning producer for The King’s Speech), and Peter Rafelson (writer and producer for Madonna, Stevie Nix, and Britney Spears). With his business partner Jivana Hunt, he has an exciting new digital PR company called Ruck London and represents one of the hippest designers in New York, Jamie Parker (CEO of Maha Loka) whose work has been featured in Vogue, Tatler, and Glamour. Bartholomew’s company was singled out to partner with her for marketing, photography and PR in the UK.

Jivana Hunt is a journalist, manager and PR consultant that worked with legendary music producer Youth's new label Suriya Recordings, the London International Arts Festival (featuring artists such as Rodney P, Talvin Singh, Cleveland Watkiss, and Trilok Gurtu), and manages Mehboob Nadeem, a 15th generation London-based Indian sitar player.
He is also the co-founder of Meditate to Regenerate, a youth non-profit that promotes personal development, music and dance to 11,000 young people around the world working with organisations such as UNESCO, UNRWA, Save the Children, AIESEC, and YMCA. In his spare time he also curates international art exhibitions around the world.

The Arts Club’s guest list includes Chris Salewicz (biographer of Bob Marley and Joe Strummer), Jack Bond (Dali in New York and Separation), and a host of other industry VIPs, key people from V&A, Royal Academy of Arts, Southbank Centre, music and fashion journalists, bloggers, managers, and investors.

Starting on 19th April 2018, The Arts Club will be hosting these VIP guests weekly for the next 12 months at the Jam & Rye music and cocktail bar in Islington. A limited number of tickets are still available for the next 3 months through the online ticketing company Eventbrite.
