The Assist' are a multigenre quartet from Walsall, formed in 2014. comprised of both brothers Mikey Stanton (vocals) and Ryan Stanton (guitar). Bassist Jak Baker and drummer Ben Faulkner.
With a sound so colourful and unpredictable, angular and edgy guitar riffs effortlessly intertwine between funky bass lines and punchy yet often disco tech like drums. littered with infectiousmelodies, unexpected tempo changes, and anthemic sing-along choruses the music takes you on a ride like no other.
Strongly supported by BBC's introducing show and not long after being labelled as "Birmingham's next big thing" by XFM , plans to release an E.P were put in place. High profile gigs and festivals came round so soon and the band still continue to scale the country prior to the big release date expected early next year. Having completed a full UK 2015 tour adding dates to a list of shows already consisting of gigs at Liam Gallagher's very own 'Pretty Green' store and festival slots alongside the likes of 'The 1975' , 'The Enemy' and 'Happy Mondays', work on our Debut E.P will now begin.
