Description

The Athlete Program – Open Training Day


Our open training day has been created for both members and non-members of TAP


Hosted by program director Carl Saville and delivered by head coach Mike Catris & leading athlete Emelye Dwyer


The day itself will be split into smaller sections where we will focus on:

  • How to plan, prepare and optimise your performance delivery! (Including open prep)
  • Nutrition for performance!
  • Weightlifting section to focus on improving technique!
  • Maximising your time in the gym!


Here is an overview of the day itself:

11:00-12:00: Programming & how to prepare for competition

12:00-12:30: Workout 1, this will include a breakdown on how to optimise your own personal performance in this test

12:30-12:45: 1st Break

12:45-13:30: Weightlifting presentation looking at key positions and how to maximise delivery of power in both lifts

13:30-14:30: Workout 2 = Olympic lifting session

14:30-15:00: 2nd Break

15:00-16:00: Nutrition for performance seminar

16:00-17:00: Team workout
