Book launch event: ‘The Battle for Monte Natale’ featuring John Strafford in conversation with a senior historian.

Join us for the highly anticipated launch of The Battle for Monte Natale, the latest book by John Strafford. Following a decade of meticulous research, Strafford has delivered a gripping account of the intense three-week battle fought from 17th January to 7th February 1944. Through war diaries, personal testimonies, and historical records, Strafford tells the story of those individuals who fought and died in the Battle of Monte Natale. His narrative provides an unparalleled look not only at war on a strategic level, but also at individual sacrifice, heroism, and valour shown in the face of danger.

John Strafford will be joined in conversation with a famous historian, reflecting on the themes of his book and his research, including stories that didn’t make it into the final edition.
