Event Details

You may not realise this, but Sunday the 21st of May 2017 at 19:00 GMT BST marks a very special event. It will be 47 years, 4 months, 5 days and 9hrs since the release of Abbey Road. It is the greatest album ever produced and I say we celebrate. But how? By performing it! Every track, back to back in the very same sequence as it was when released way back in 1969.

We've pulled out all the stops for this, utilising all the talented musicians we've had the pleasure of playing alongside over the years (to make sure we don't royally screw it up) We've even given ourselves a sneaky beatles nod of a name for the night - Maxwell & The Edisons. All we need now is a collection of lovely faces to play to and that's where you come in.

You have questions and we have answers. Check it!

1. Are kids allowed?

Yes and for FREE ! Bring them and educate their tiny minds with the good stuff.

2. What time?

Doors open at 18:30 with the show starting at 19.00. We thought we'd start a little earlier for those with kids and for others with one eye on Monday morning. For the remaining, who simply don't care, we'll be playing late into the evening with a traditional collection of covers and Fire at Will/John Landau & The Giants smash hits!

3. At what cost?

A mere £5 is all if you book in advance. Alternatively you can buy them on the door for £6, but I would advise saving a a bob and securing a ticket, as space is limited.

I do hope you can come. It should be rather special.

A huge converted Victorian Hotel, The Bedford is now a cornerstone for London’s thriving live music, comedy and entertainment scenes.

In the late sixties and seventies it was a spit and sawdust live music venue serving as a springboard for early gigs by acts including The Clash and U2.

The legendary Live Music nights have witnessed stunning early performances by the likes of Ed Sheeran, The Staves, James Bay and many others, as well as providing a wonderful backdrop for performances by established artists including Pete Townshend, Crowded House, KT Tunstall and other superstars. And the 30 year old Banana Cabaret has nourished acts including Michael McIntyre, The Mighty Boosh, Omid Djalil and recent America’s Got Talent winer, Paul Zerdin.
