RCI London is celebrating the beauty and simplicity of the Romanian Blouse, the central piece of our traditional costume with a special exhibition curated by Veta Ghimpu Munteanu and an introduction on the myths and ornaments of this object of universal admiration. Proudly worn and cherished by Royal personalities, majestically depicted in famous paintings, revisited by great fashion designers or even featured in the writings of numerous authors, ,, ia’’ - the Romanian blouse – is a symbol of Romanian identity.

Veta Ghimpu Munteanu was born in Paicu village, Cahul district, Republic of Moldova. She is the soloist of the ethno-folk ensemble "Tălăncuţa", a member of the Union of Musicians and she works as an editor at the Radio Music Department and "Teleradio-Moldova".
