The Better Community Feast in aid of St. Mungo's Bristol
Fri 16 September 2016, 18:30 – 21:00 BST
Join Better Food in our St. Werburghs café for a spectacular evening feast to celebrate Organic September! All proceeds from the evening will be donated to St. Mungo's Bristol to support the vital support they give to homeless and vulnerable people in the city.
Our talented chefs will be creating a surprise 2 course menu made almost entirely from surplus food from the store and from The Community Farm in nearby Chew Magna, plus kind donations of surplus fruit from Priors Farm and wine from Vintage Roots and Vinceremos.
Thomas Bourne of The Well Hung Meat Company and Ped Asgarian from The Community Farm will be joining us to talk about what organic means to them and their business, and Simon Dyer from St. Mungo's will be there to discuss the important work the charity carries out in Bristol.
Buy a raffle ticket on the night to be in with a chance of winning prizes from the Community Farm and The Well Hung Meat Company!
Your ticket includes a surprise feast and a glass of wine or juice. Please choose vegan or vegetarian meal options at check out if required. Email email@example.com for special dietary requirements and we'll do what we can to accommodate.
