A Doggy Day Out is tremendously excited to bring you not one, but two fun-packed days of adventure and excitement for you, your dog and all the family. Whether on two legs or four, there’ll be plenty to see and do, so be sure to get your tickets now.

Trentham is a very special place. Set in 725 acres of spectacular countryside and glorious ancient woodland, its home to award-winning Gardens and a delightful shopping village full of gift shops, eateries, and quirky stores galore. Both gardens and the shopping village are dog-friendly too. In fact many of our shops and restaurants welcome our four-legged friends.

Both fun-packed days will include:

Have-a-go agility – balancing and weaving, jumping over and dashing under, is your dog going to be fastest?

Have-a-go hoopers – from hoop to hoop, turning on a sixpence, try the new craze hitting the doggy world!

Temptation Alley – treats or chews, gravy bones or fish skins - can your dog resist the temptation of the Alley?

Canine Olympics – do you have a sporty dog? One full of vim, vigour, and energy? Let them have a go at our wonderful Canine Olympics.

Fly Ball – get your ear plugs at the ready for a noisy, fun, and fast race that pits dog against dog over hurdles.

Scurry – on your marks, get set… Will your dog hurdle the hay-bales to retrieve the dummy in record time?

Dog Displays – discover and learn all things doggy at our fascinating displays and demonstrations from a host of experts in their fields.

Paws Got Talent – has your dog got a special talent or an amazing trick to share. Then enter our fun talent competition with a rosette for the best three.

Kid zone – let the little ones take charge at a selection of scaled-down versions of our fun activities.

Seminar-zone – join a selection of workshops from dog behaviourists, health gurus, fitness and nutrition specialists, dog-trainers, and groomers.

Doggy Photobooth – bring your own costumes or choose from our basket of props, it’s time to strike a pose for our professional canine photographer and capture that pooch-perfect family portrait (charged separately)

A Doggy Day Out is committed to supporting and promoting ethical dog-businesses, promoting healthy attitudes and positive training methods among dog owners, raising funds for local pet charities, and promoting good causes.

Please note that owing to the proximity of livestock, well-behaved doggy-visitors MUST be kept on a lead. Trentham Estate is fully accessible, however please be aware that the event arena is 0.5km from the car park.
