The big bug hunt! 10am – 12pm
Many different creatures call Gunpowder Works Country Park their home. Join Anna Outdoors as we look under leaves, search under stones and turn over twigs to discover some of the country park’s smaller creatures. We will finish the session by making pebble painted creepy crawlies to take home!
We are asking for a small donation to Oare Gunpowder Works on the day.
All equipment provided.
Please wear long sleeved t-shirts and ideally trousers.
Dress for all weathers.
Suitable for all ages and anyone who loves bugs and/or would like to learn more about bugs!
All participants under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Approximately 1 hour bug hunting and 1 hour to get crafty.
Meet at the visitor centre 5 minutes prior to the start of the session. We will be in the woodland next to the Test Range once the session is underway.
