The big challenge: Reimagining the existing economic model

11am-4pm Saturday 22 April
UNISON, 130 Euston Road, London, NW1 2AY

In the past year, Fabian Women’s Network (FWN) and Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung London (FES) have been working in partnership on the challenges the progressive movement is facing. With the world rapidly changing, the rise of populism, the automation of labour markets and Brexit posing unprecedented uncertainties, we need to rethink the current economic models. Not only in the UK, but across Europe and the world.

By bringing together experts from the UK and Germany and drawing on international examples and comparisons, we want to contribute to this debate and encourage the formulation of new policies and approaches that can drive the renewal of innovative economic thinking.

We would be delighted to see you there and join us for a day of fascinating discussions and exchange!
