The Big Christmas Networking Extravaganza 2025

The Big Christmas Networking Extravaganza is back for its 19th year!

This event brings business owners together for a special Christmas celebration and opportunites to meet and connect with people from across all our groups.

It is open to any business owners or managers who are all welcome to come along.

Here is the programme:

From 10am-12pm is open networking with a networking game to get you connected and sharing your business. Refreshments included.

There will be a raffle for our nominated charity for 2025 One YMCA who last year supported 135,700 individuals to belong, contribute and thrive across Herts, Beds and Bucks.We will find out more about the work they do.

At 12pm we will enjoy a traditional Christmas lunch, networking session over lunch, followed by our guest speakers Maggie Sarfo and Zeenat Ahmed-Peto.

Our theme this year is 'Happiness'.This will end your business year with a smile on your face and fill you with hope and optimism for 2026.

Maggie Sarfo is a business growth expert and CEO of Meres Consult and also leads The Athena Network London City.

In 2024 she published her book 'The One Secret to Happiness' a practical guide to achieving consistent happiness and balance in all aspects of life including relationships, work, finances, and passions.

Based on insights from the book Maggie will share why we sometimes feel unhappy even though we’re achieving a lot. Plus some practical tips to achieving consistent happiness and balance in all aspects of life. You will walk away with a sense of self-discovery and joy!

Our second speaker is Zeenat Ahmed- Peto who is a cognitive hypnotherapist and NLP Master Coach. She helps sensitive female founders overcome a lifetime of people-pleasing, improving their boundaries and healing from burnout, so they can show up wholeheartedly in life and business.

Her book was also published in 2024 'Too Kind: A Survival Guide for Sensitive Souls' and became an Amazon best seller.

Zeenat will be sharing a heartwarming and inspiring talk 'You deserve to be happy'. This will focus on our theme of happiness, gratitude, and positive psychology, the science of what makes life truly joyful. Through gentle reflection and a guided visualisation, you’ll be invited to look back on the year with gratitude and look forward to the year ahead with hope and positivity. A perfect moment of calm and inspiration to remind us all that, especially at Christmas, we each deserve to be happy.
