Have Your Say on the Future of Adult Social Care in Nottinghamshire

We want to hear from you.

If you draw on care and support, or if you love or care for someone who does, your voice matters. We’re working on a new plan for adult social care in Nottinghamshire and have an independent organisation, Think Local Act Personal to help us do this. We need your help to shape it.

What’s Happening?

We’re running a survey and holding a series of “Big Conversation” events across the county. These are safe, welcoming spaces where you can share your thoughts, ideas, and experiences.

You don’t need to be an expert. Just tell us what matters to you.

Why Get Involved?

Because adult social care is about more than services. It’s about living a good life—being connected, feeling supported, and having choices. We believe everyone has the right to:

“Live in the place we call home, with the people and things we love, in communities where we look out for each other, doing the things that matter to us”

In 2023, we spoke to over 500 people in Nottinghamshire. What they told us helped shape the 2024 Local Account—a report that sets out what’s working, what needs to change, and what we’re focusing on next.

Now we’re building on that work and we want to know how we’re doing and what we need to do next. We want to make sure even more people have a chance to be heard—especially those who haven’t had the chance before.
