The Ladies’ College’s fourth Big Debate will explore the motion: This house believes that trying to have it all sets women up for failure.’

Proposition speakers: Megan Pullum, KC - HM Procureur & HM Receiver General and Isabel Round, Lower Sixth student.

Opposition speakers: Deputy Lindsay de Sausmarez - President of the Policy & Resources Committee and Bailey Austin, Upper Sixth student.

The debate will be chaired by Sir Richard Collas, retired Bailiff of Guernsey, former Governor of The Ladies' College and former Pupil of Melrose.

Adult tickets are charged at £8pp, with all money from the event going to The Ladies' College Bursary Fund.

Student tickets are free of charge.

Supported free of charge tickets are also available to low-income individuals.

We plan to take a small number of photos/recordings at this event. These will be used to share news about the event and may be used online or in printed form for promotional purposes. Images will be stored securely and deleted once they no longer serve a purpose . As an attendee, your entry and presence on the event premises constitutes your consent, however if you have any concerns, please contact the College to discuss these. In terms of images of students, the College will adhere to the current consents given for use of images as on file at the time of the event.
