Dancing and light will make lines through Camden High Street and onto Hawley Wharf canalside, in a 2 part performance.
Light offers the potential for expressive, fluid and dramatic mark-making – leaving permanent or temporary impressions.
Dance, directed by David Blake, will follow on from presentations and masterclass workshops with young people in local venues, and will respond to the populated street and canalside architecture.
Light, both worn and projected through technologies, will be coordinated with sounds, music and voices drawn from Camden’s recent and past histories, and will follow body movement and dance through street levels, steps, and canalside terraces.
These performances are part of Camden's Black History Season.
