The Big Event

Making Good Work Happen

The importance of good or quality work to individuals and the UK economy has been clearly examined by Matthew Taylor’s ‘Good Work’ Review. With more and more people working well into their sixties, many individuals will now spend around 50 years of their life in paid work. As such, work is strongly related to the quality of individuals’ lives and their well-being. What is deemed good work by one person may not be by another.

Hear from CIPD research (Working Lives Survey) what employees are saying is important to them in the workplace, what does that mean to employers, businesses and the HR profession and consider the benefits of flexibility and inclusivity on productivity and well-being.

Find out about work done in other parts of the UK to develop a Good Employer standard/charter and take part in workshops exploring topical issues related to flexibility, well-being and inclusion in the workplace.

 Speakers at this years event:

Hear Speakers at this years one day conference from:

CIPD, DWP, Teesside University, Collingwood Legal, Womble Bond Dickinson, Vintage Finance, Miss Menopause.
