About this event
Join us for an evening of friendly competition to test your general knowledge with The Big Feminist Quiz. You don't have to be a woman or a feminist to take part but it would probably give you a bit of an edge!
It's a family-friendly quiz but aimed at adults and hosted by our fabulous quiz-mistress, Wendy.
It's a BYO food and drink event and in addition to the quiz there will be stalls with homemade cakes and second-hand books for sale.
So get your thinking caps on and help raise vital funds for Cambridge Rape Crisis Centre!
How to join us
Tickets are £5 per person.
The name given during the booking process is the name you need to tell us at the door on the night. If you are purchasing multiple tickets for your team please make sure all your team members know to quote the booking name when they arrive.
You will receive a confirmation email via Eventbrite once you've purchased your ticket(s). You can bring this on the night or just quote the booking name, it's up to you.
On the night
On the night, the venue will open half an hour before (7pm) and then the quiz will start at 7.30pm sharp. Quiz-mistress Wendy will take you through the format and then the quizzing begins!
Free parking is available at the venue (Coleridge Community College) and there will be clear signage on site directing you to both parking and the quiz itself.
We ask you to bring your own food and drink (alcohol is fine) plus plates and glasses. No hot food or takeaways please.
We will have homemade cakes and second-hand books for sale plus a raffle. Purchases can be made by cash or payment card.
How does my money help?
All proceeds go to Cambridge Rape Crisis Centre and help us to support more local women and girls affected by sexual violence.
At a time when Cambridge Rape Crisis Centre is seeing more survivors of sexual violence reaching out to us than ever before, in our 40 year history, your support is even more important.
Your support helps us to provide our vital emotional, therapeutic and advocacy support services for survivors of sexual violence during exceedingly difficult times.
Sadly, our support has now become more life-saving than life-changing.
You help us to keep delivering our support in the face of significant increases in need and demand. Since the pandemic began, there has been a 53% increase in the need for our emotional and therapeutic support services and a 67% increase in the demand for our advocacy services.
You make our work possible and help us ensure than no local woman or girl has to cope with the impacts of sexual violence alone.
