Is Guildhall Art Gallery accessible?

Accepted Answer

The Gallery is fully accessible. If members of your group would find it difficult to negotiate the stairs in an emergency please let Artis know in advance so we can notify the Gallery. There are accessible toilets.

What is your cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

If you need to cancel, please email chirp@artisfoundation.org.uk at the earliest opportunity so we can notify the specialist and Guildhall Art Gallery. If you do not cancel within three weeks of the workshop date, or fail to show on the day, the school is liable to pay for £50 fee.

Question 3

Is there a cloakroom at the Guildhall Gallery?

Accepted Answer

The cloakroom is free of charge to use; however, it is not always attended so visitors leave their belongings at their own risk. There are also coin operated lockers available.

Question 4

Are there lunch facilities for the children?

Accepted Answer

Food and drink is not permitted inside the Gallery. Picnic lunches can be eaten in Guildhall Yard or in nearby green spaces. Occasionally the Guildhall Gallery can offer spaces to eat in their cloakroom area but this cannot be guaranteed and must be booked in advance (and is subject to change)

Question 5

Is there drinking water available?

Accepted Answer

Drinking water is not provided for the workshop. Please ensure students bring bottles of water to drink before and after the session. Bottles can be refilled using the sinks in the toilets.

Question 6

What support will we get for the self guided tour?

Accepted Answer

There will be a resource for the self guided tour that you can use with your students. There are also staff in the galleries to assist with any questions.
