The Big Picture. Responding to Climate Risk

In conversation with BHP's Dr. Fiona Wild, Vice-President, Sustainability and Climate Change

Climate change is one of the greatest challenges of our time. It has created a landscape of climate risks - ranging from operational to regulatory to reputational - affecting companies and their supply chains. With the signing of the historic Paris Agreement in 2015, national policy makers are focused on limiting greenhouse gas emissions to a sustainable point as well as planning and regularly reporting on their country's own contributions to mitigating global warming. Businesses are at the heart of this challenge.

As the world's largest mining company, BHP has a unique perspective on Climate Risk. Join us to hear from Dr. Fiona Wild, Vice-President, Sustainability and Climate Change, who leads the design and implementation of all BHP's sustainability related issues, as she discusses BHP's insights on climate risk and the future for businesses on developing greater transparency and enhanced disclosure.

In this edition of the Big Picture we'll consider what climate risk and the transition to a low carbon economy means for business and you.
