Event description

Description

Come along to the Big Read 2018 pop-up book group at Camberwell where we'll be discussing Harper Lee's To Kill A Mockingbird.

The book is about Atticus Finch, who appears as an unconventional hero and role model due to his morality rather than his physical capabilities. The theme of morals is apparent throughout the whole novel, especially in relation to racism, religion and perception of sin. This novel is magnificent and if you haven’t already done so, we’d recommend giving it a try.

That’s why we’re inviting you to pick up a copy (should be available in most libraries or you can download a Kindle version for under £5) and get reading in time for this pop-up book group, which coincides with University Mental Health Day and World Book Day.

There’ll be a chance to chat about the book, network with your colleagues and lunch will be provided. Remember to put it in your diary!

Open to UAL staff only.
