Taking place on Wednesday 7th December 2016 from 12–2pm, the lunch sets out to inform Croydon's big business community about plans for The Big Shake Festival in The Exchange Square on Saturday 27 May 2017; a festival that seeks to promote all of the hard work and commitment that Croydon non-profits and charities offer to the borough and its residents.
At this upcoming lunch, our hand-picked guests will be offered complimentary food and drink before being taken through Shaking Hands' journey over the last three months of planning Croydon's most successful community-cultural festival to date.
12-12.30pm: Meet and greet; complimentary food & drink and networking
12.30–1pm: Attendees seated for The Big Shake showcase
1–1.20pm: Guest speakers Paul Hudson of the London Mozart Players, and Kathryn Marshall of Brainstrust
1.20–1.30pm: Breakdown of The Big Shake Sponsorship Packages (Headline, Gold, Silver and Bronze)
1.20–1.30pm: Q&A panel with Sean Keelan of MJB Security, Jade Fletcher of Jade Green Events, and Shaking Hands co-directors, Rob O'Sullivan and Laurence Grant
1.30–1.40pm: Evaluation of The Big Showcase forum
1.40–2.00pm: More nibbles and networking
2.00pm+: Tour of The Exchange Square – visions of The Big Shake Festival
Through working with Croydon's most iconic charities, local government figures, business directors, and property developers, including Barnardo's, Brainstrust, Croydon Voluntary Action, Croydon Commitment, AgeUK, Crisis, London Mozart Players, Croydon Council, Surrey Street Market, Rosepride, Guildhouse, Jade Green Events, MJB Security, and many more, we have been able to secure all of the permissions and expertise necessary to deliver a family-friendly, fun-for all festival that will benefit and raise awareness for Croydon's most cherished charities.
With ambitions to co-ordinate various 'Zones' on the day of the event filled with stalls, stands and activities, we expect to draw in 12,000-14,000 Croydon residents on the day of the event, all of whom will be able to choose to visit our; Animal Zone, Fashion Zone, Music & Performance Zone, Sports Zone, Kids Zone, Community Zone, and Business Zone. Each 'Zone' will be open to sponsorship, where backers can enjoy abundant branding and marketing opportunities.
