The Big Vote: Join Us To Vote On TAA's Next Big Campaign

Join us at The Liberation Centre, 2 Beehive Place on December 17, 2025 from 5:00 PM to vote on TAA's next big member-led community-wide campaign.

The Big Vote is an important decision making moment for this community and a chance to hang out after one heck of a year.

Together, we’ll vote on our next community wide organising campaign. We’ll also have food + fun activities (surprises to come)!! Get your ticket now and bring a friend!

Why is this important?

Over the summer the Member-led Governance team (MLG), the Campaigns & Organising team, and the Community team held 107 conversations with members to find out what is making you most angry and most hopeful.

We learnt a lot about how people felt on a wide range of injustices. But the clear top issue that TAA members want to organise on was racism and the rise of the far-right.

We are not naive, we know that these issues are big and systemic, but they are also interlinked.

Over the past few weeks, as part of the Winning Change programme, we've held sessions with a core team who have built some strategies for how our community can tackle this issue.

They will present these back to us all to vote on at The Big Vote. Then, whatever we decide will be built our into a major campaign from early next year!!

This is a MAJOR decision making moment for members to vote on the next big TAA wide campaign. It’s also an opportunity to gather as a community during the cold, harsh winter season 🥶 and eat some yummy, warm food together 😉.
