The Bishop's Annual Lectures 2017 in the Diocese of Sheffield. for all clergy within the diocese of Sheffield and all licenced or authorised lay ministers.
We have two dates - two venues and two speakers.
1. Monday February 27th 2017: 7.30 to 9.30 - Overturning the Tables of the Money Lenders - a lecture on debt and justice in Sheffield. Led by, the Dean of the Cathedral the Very Revd Peter Bradley. To be held in the Council Chambers at the Octagon Centre, the University of Sheffield, S10 2TQ. this evening lecture is for those who cannot make the study day on Tuesday 28th February, but it is also open to those who would like to attend both dates. (but please book both if attending both)
2. Tuesday February 28th 2017 9.30 to 16.30 - God and the Money Lenders study day. - looking at the theology of debt and money generally - Led by Andy Walton, the Communications Officer from the Centre for Theology and community. To be held at the Cathedral church of SsPeter and Paul Sheffield.
A light sandwich lunch is available for £5 but must be booked in advance when booking your ticket. Payable on the door on the day when signing in. If you are bringing your own lunch you are welcome to stay and eat with the others at the tables provided in the Cathedral. Drinks are available for everyone throughout the day.
- Lunch will consist of a sandwich, a cake and fruit. Tea or Coffee. (vegetarian option)
