About this event

Soak up the sunny atmosphere and put on your best 1940s inspired outfit.

Displays inside the museum and around the site from Living History Groups, Re-enactors and Local Museums, Entertainment, Promenaders, Smart Street tours, Vintage Vehicles, WVS serving tea and hot food available on site from our catering concession.

*Battle of Britain Memorial Flypast .

The local bus from Tamworth and Lichfield stops directly outside the museum. Free parking nearby.

*weather conditions permitting flight of vintage aircraft.

A limited number of Early-bird tickets are on sale at £9 adults, £6 children (3-16 years), £27 Family ticket and infants (2 years and younger) free.

Standard tickets £10 adults, £7 children, £30 Family ticket, infants free - available on the day.

What is your refund policy?

The organiser will not be issuing refunds for this event. If you are no longer able to attend the event, please contact the organiser to arrange the transfer of your ticket to another date in 2024 for general visits which may be of an equal or lesser value.

Why do infants need a ticket?

Children age 2 and younger only need a ticket for the purpose of counting numbers of visitors on site. The museum has a site capacity which cannot be exceeded for safety, security and insurance purposes. tickets for infants are free of charge.

Will the event be cancelled if it rains?

This is an outdoor event and as with all British summertime events there is no guarantee of sunshine. Should the weather conditions be considered too dangerous ( severe weather warnings issued by the MET Office) then the event will be postponed and arranged for an alternative date.
