Have you the grass here that sings or the bird that is blue?
It is Christmas Eve and Tyltyl wakes to find a hump-back figure in his bedroom. She is obviously a fairy. Tyltyl must find the bluebird that makes people happy. And he must do so before Christmas. Tyltyl doesn't know about bluebirds, or where he might find one but joined by his faithful pets the search begins...
Lightbox Theatre presents The Blue Bird, Maurice Maeterlinck’s classic fairy-tale about perception, happiness and seeing the extraordinary in our everyday. Visually charming and featuring live music, this is a magical show for all the family.
Directed by Anna Marsland (resident director on hit West End show Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time)
