Police Officer Roles: We will have members of our team who are passionate about policing to explain more about the varied police officer activities, challenges of the role, and the various routes of entry into policing. We will ensure you have all the relevant information to help you make an informed decision about policing.
Firefighter roles: Firefighters do more than putting out fires. Come along and find out about this role and significance it plays in our communities. Local firefighters will be available to talk about both the on call and whole time firefighter roles with the Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service (NFRS).
Supporting Roles: The unseen heroes of policing and NFRS are the support staff roles that ensure the services can deliver their functions. The roles are varied and comprise those functions you see in any large organisation (such as HR; data analysis, finance and computing) and functions unique to the two services (such as fire safety; case building; victim support). Some of our support staff will be available to help you explore the diversity of roles and help you navigate the way through finding the right role for you.
Our recruitment team will also be on hand to answer any questions on entry requirements and the recruitment and selection process.
