The Bombtrack Gran Fonduro is a new event for gravel or adventure riders, touring the epic backcountry of the Tweed Valley. It’s a big day of fun riding with timed stages on forest roads, natural trails and foot paths, all connected by quiet, scenic Borders back roads. The stages have ups, downs, and everything else in-between, and we guarantee it will take you to places you have never been before…

There are two distances – approx. 60km or the full route at around 100km, with several timed stages contributing to the results board, and there’s a time limit to complete the entire course. The event HQ is based in the beautiful grounds of the historic Traquair House, just outside Innerleithen.

Gritopia, a brand new gravel/adventure ride on Saturday 9th June 2018 joins the event programme line up at TweedLove's 'T on the Green' big festival weekend in Peebles. Both these gravel events will venture deep into the Tweed Valley backcountry on some beautiful and undiscovered gravel and forest roads with Gritopia using a 60km course to serve as a great introduction to this kind of riding and a fabulous taste of the wild roads and tracks of the Tweed Valley hinterland.

What's the refund/ transfer policy?

If for any reason you are unable to attend the event, refunds will be available upon request (info@tweedlove.com) up to three weeks (7th September 2018) before the event - refunds will be subject to a £10.00 administration fee. Transfers are only available until 7th September 2018. There will be an admin charge of £10.00 for this. After this date, no refunds/transfers will be available.

Is there minimum age requirements to enter the event?

No riders under 16 years old on the day of the event permitted.
