Bernard Juby, a long-standing member of the Bookplate Society, a Fellow of the Heraldry Society and a Distinguished Companion of the Confraternity of Our Lady, St Luke and the White Shield, had a passion for bookplates and, especially, heraldic examples. Bernard published several books on (mostly) modern bookplate artists, enthusiastically sharing their work for collectors and neophytes alike.
Perhaps his lasting legacy will be the very active Facebook Group "Heraldic Bookplates" which now numbers over 2,500 members from all over the world.
Bernard prepared this selection of slides and asked Charles Melville Wright, the Secretary of the Bookplate Society, to present it on his behalf.
