Event description

Description

When Picasso comes to stay anything can happen!

Come and play down on the farm with Tony and Picasso. We’ll have loads of fun, make crazy pictures and we’ll tell the true story of how a young boy became friends with one of the greatest artists who ever lived.

With storytelling, music and lots of chances to make your own art The Boy Who Bit Picasso is an interactive theatre show for everyone aged four and upwards. This hands-on and hilarious family show introduced one of the 20th Century most influential artists through the eyes of a young boy.

*Relaxed Performance*

A relaxed performance is for all families but the performance environment will be adapted to ensure that it is more accessible for people with autism. This means that: there will be a tolerance of certain levels of noise and movement by any audience member there will be a quiet room provided there will be directional signage with images to indicate the use of each room in the library the performance space will be free of clutter and will have low lighting the performers will ensure that the audience are aware of any changes in the show before they happen we will have a number of ear defenders for use available at the library counter but please bring your own in case we are short. Would you like to visit the library before the performance day? email us to let us know via JessBowstead@sthelens.gov.uk
